This 45-minute panel discussion will be featured during the Investment Expo on April 27-28 at the Sheraton Towers, New York City, the largest two-day financial exhibition held in the investment capital of the world.
The Fundingpost.com Venture Capital Pavilion will feature 25 emerging companies including the only scheduled New York appearance of Freedom Ship and its management team. "The early stage venture market has returned to its normal (3-5 year) time horizon from company creation to liquidity event. Opportunities for again using the buy low/sell high strategy make seed and early stage investing attractive right now. Entrepreneurs in New York now have several organized groups to pitch, and appetite is growing again." Howard Morgan, Vice Chairman, idealab!
“Qualities that I look for in an entrepreneur include 1) integrity; 2) commitment; 3) ability to listen and consider suggestions; 4) a healthy ego; 5) intelligence; 6) honesty,” Don Sussis, Angel Investor and Serial Entrepreneur.
The following is a selection of companies who are planned to exhibit at the FundingPost.com Venture Capital Pavilion at the Investment Expo:
“The NYNMA Angel program, which is in its fifth year, is going strong. Since its inception in 1997, over $12 million has been put to work in over 40 companies. The Angels in the network are actively looking at interesting projects in the security, software, infrastructure, and content industries,” said Justin Model, Interim Director, NYNMA Angel Program. “NYNMA is committed to helping young companies succeed. Several of our angel investors are serving as panelists and we are happy to be partnering with FundingPost.com on this important event.”
